What is the Cal Alumni of Silicon Valley?
Cal Alumni of Silicon Valley is a chartered chapter of the Cal Alumni Association (CAA). We bring together UC Berkeley alumni, students, parents, and friends in Silicon Valley to connect through events, networking, and community engagement.
The main focus of our chapter is to gather Cal alumni to build a community of Cal Bears to advance and promote the interests of the University of California, Berkeley. We inform, engage, and inspire alumni to support the university by participating and volunteering in university and alumni activities, acting as ambassadors and advocates on behalf of the university, and giving to the university.
Who leads the Cal Alumni of Silicon Valley, and how do our events make an impact?
Cal Alumni of Silicon Valley is led by dedicated alumni volunteers who bring their time, talent, and leadership to every initiative. Proceeds from our events go directly to support Cal Alumni Association’s Alumni Scholarships, helping future generations of Berkeley students thrive.
Who can join the Cal Alumni of Silicon Valley?
Cal Alumni of Silicon Valley is open to all UC Berkeley alumni, current students, parents, faculty, staff, and supporters who want to stay connected with the Berkeley community in Silicon Valley.
Do I need to be a UC Berkeley graduate to participate?
No. While many of our members are alumni, we welcome friends of UC Berkeley, parents of students, and community members who support Cal.
What types of events does the club host?
We host a variety of events from football watch parties, hiking events, volunteer summer welcome parties for the incoming Cal students, and much more! If you are interested in seeing certain events, please contact us to let us know!

How can I make a contribution to support CAA and the Cal Alumni of Silicon Valley?
