Accessibility Tech is any device, software or equpiment that is used to increase, maintain and improve the functional capabilities of people with a wide range of abilities and disabilities. It incorporates the principles of universal design. There are now collaborative robots similar to a human arm, robotic guide dogs, autonomous navigation without human intervention, smart toilets, exoskeletons and so much more....

We are joining with the Yale Alumni Club on May 11th Saturday morning at the Marshall Nature Area in Ann Arbor!

The 2024 Pac-12 Track & Field Championships will take place on May 10-12 at Potts Field in Boulder, Colorado. RMGB will deliver gatorade to the team when they arrive. You are invited to come out to support the Bears as they compete in the FINAL Pac-12 event at University of Colorado, Boulder. We don't know when a Cal athletic team will be back in Colorado, so let's cheer on our Golden Bears!

In celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we'll be going to Peking Tavern in Little Tokyo. Enjoy Chinese gastropub bites and cocktails, and if you stick around until 9pm, there may be some karaoke. The full food and drink menu will be available, as well as Happy Hour until 7pm and Tuesday 2-for-1 noodles (with drink purchases)!

Taiwan has been much in the news in recent years, but mostly as a "problem," neglecting the fact that it refers to a population with a history, identity, culture, cuisine, flourishing democracy, and far-flung diaspora. This panel, comprising a multi-disciplinary lineup, explores these issues from different perspectives, drawing together fresh scholarly research from a new generation of Taiwan-focused academics, as well as their policy implications for Taiwan, the U.S., and the global community.

The Cal Alumni Association and the San Gabriel Valley Cal Alumni Club invite you to join us for the annual Summer Welcome Party on Saturday, July 20th.

Join your fellow Golden Bears as we celebrate America's pastime on Sunday, July 21st! When it's root, root, root for the home team, you can't lose! Root for your current home team or your home-across-the-Bay team from your days at Cal. We've reserved a block of seats in Section U342 so that we can all sit together! Our seats will be shaded, so this is a great family-friendly event.

Early bird tickets are $16 each, inclusive of all fees! Ticket prices will increase to $19 each on May 19th so buy early!

Tickets:

• $16 per ticket (fees included) if purchased before May 19
• $19 per ticket (fees included) if purchased on or after May 19
• Children 2 years old or younger do not need a ticket if they share a seat with an adult.

Spend a summer weekend in Chicago and join fellow Cal alums for this classic baseball rivalry on Sunday, August 4th, at 1:20 pm. The Cal Alumni Club of Chicago has 15 tickets in section 225 (1st base side, Terrace Reserved section), available to Cal fans on a first-come first-served basis. Cost is $79.50 per ticket.
