TAP has served over 4,200 students. Currently, it annually serves more than 1,000 students studying at 31 community colleges in Northern and Southern California.

In order to increase the number of veteran applicants to the University of California, Berkeley, the Cal Armed Forces Alumni for Equity and Inclusion (CAFAEI) wants to create and continue to support student veteran groups at community colleges. By creating or continuing to support student veteran groups at community colleges, Cal alumni, veterans or non veterans, will have the opportunity to connect with each other and mentor, network, and provide transfer information to veterans who plan to apply to Cal.
